Why the iPad for the 1-1 initiative

12/5/2013

Heritage Christian Academy has chosen the Apple iPad because:
1. Long Battery Life
2. Regularity (we want all students on the same device)
3. Teachers are teacher, not IT professionals
-with different OS's and tablets our teachers would be spending much time on IT help, not on subject material.
4. Capability to filter off-site
-we have the ability to filter your students' iPad 24/7, on and off campus.
5. Boot Time
     -iPads are instant on

iPad batteries can last an entire school day with a single charge. We do not offer charging stations for iPad's at school. It is the expectation that students will come to school with iPad's fully charged.
